You’d think that, while advertising their newest iPods as the ‘Video’, Apple would make it possible for you to put a DVD in you drive, upload it onto iTunes and sync your iPod; but oh no! I bought about 20 DVDs the other day all excited to be able to watch them whenever I wanted on my brand new iPod Video that I bought for £150… But as it happens, as well as paying for the DVDs, I then had to buy them again in the iTunes store, way to advertise it, idiots…
Luckily, just as I was about to purchase the movies on iTunes, a family friend advised me to download Video to iPod converting program* for a much smaller price than that I was about to pay for the Apple version…
Though I moan about this, it is rather smart marketing by the “geniuses” at Apple. You buy the iPod, as I did, thinking you can download your movies. Only realising you can’t after you’ve opened the box and can’t return. Though, to be fair, you really wouldn’t want to because it really is a brilliant little piece of technology.
So, in conclusion, Apple are clever idiots, if you see.
